Happy Christmas?

One evening last week I collected all the catalogs we had received  in the mail.  They all promised that the one item everyone was longing for could be found within its pages.   With Christmas only a few weeks away, I wanted to make sure that if I did find the perfect gift, I could order it before having to pay exorbitant late shipping charges to receive it by Christmas. I curled up on the sofa with a cup of tea and a notebook.

In a catalog called Uncommon Goods was the following item in their “Gifts Under $20” section. I was flummoxed.  First, who would be happy to receive these as a Christmas gift? Second, what are they exactly and why would you want them? I am embarrassed to even ask as I did raise three boys, but a diaper seems to be a safer choice.  Generally, I do not give diapers as Christmas gifts so….Somehow finding out these are manufactured in China made me laugh.  (See kerrinsheldon.com for an explanation of “Split Pants” for the Chinese solution to the Pee-Pee TeePees.)

If I have just completely missed understanding the joy parents of little boys would feel upon receiving the Pee-pee TeePees, you can purchase them for your friends and family at uncommongoods.com.  Happy shopping!

  1. So, these are not a good gift for the $5 dollar gift exchange?

    Darn it!

I got a pack of the “Copenhagen Special Edition” Pee-Pee TeePees: The Al Gore Organic Pee-Pee TeePees. They have brand new Pee-Pee TeePee technology in that they reduce the CO2 from your urine so that you’re CO2 neutral in order to Save The Planet!

    Next year…
