Christmas in Arkansas

Craig and I spent a Sunday afternoon decorating for Christmas – the tree was cut down from the neighbor’s yard and the wreath above the fireplace was made with extra tree branches. The kitten has enjoyed attacking the tree lights and banister lights :) Our cozy cabin is even more cozy with the addition of the decorations. Now we are just waiting for snow! Merry Christmas Everyone!

Oh Tannenbaum!

This past weekend we decorated for Christmas!  It was a wonderful chance to prepare for the birth of our Savior!  (Well I guess to prepare for the remembrance of the birth of our Savior).  While listening to Andrea Bocelli’s Christmas album with the aroma of pumpkin bread baking waftting through the house, we (and by “we” I mean “I”) strung lights and hung ornaments on our Douglas Fir, which had traveled from the mountains of Sparta, NC.  We hope you enjoy our modest but happy decorations!
